Charmmy Kitty Decoden iPhone Case
IT'S HERE!
First I want to say a little bit about the pros and cons of buying on eBay.
I myself LOVE eBay! (now, I do not feel the same way about Paypal...but anyway...)
I always only order stuff that is Buy It Now with free shipping. I don't have the patience to bid, although some things are worth getting into a bid war over, but I don't have any good examples of those things...lol
Here are my first two purchases on eBay.
As you can see, the sale date for both was 12/26/12. The case got here on January 3rd and has been sitting, totally plain, in my room all month (along with glue from Hobby Lobby)
They are both from China, actually all of the things I have bought on eBay so far are coming from China. I am trying not to make this too wordy but basically, if you buy from eBay there is a chance that you will get a great deal on something awesome, but there is also a chance your deal will get lost in the mail.
My number one rule is DO NOT LEAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK!
If you are waiting forever for your product or it arrived damaged/not what you ordered/paid for two and only received one etc. CONTACT THE SELLER! In my experience they have always been very friendly and helpful with any problem. They would much rather help you solve the problem you experienced while shopping with them than sign in to see negative feedback from you.
For example, some of the negative responses from people on the seller who I bought my kit from said "This was not what I expected" or "I thought I ordered a finished case" even though he has it written clearly (in big capital red letters, even) that you are buying a kit and not a finished case, and even provides pictures of all the pieces, similar to the first one I have posted down below.
It is not fair to leave negative feedback because YOU can't read.
I knew that I was ordering a kit and that was exactly what I wanted because I love to do it myself!

Now, the only time I would say leaving negative feedback on an eBay seller's profile is OK would be if you had a problem with your purchase and they were nasty to you and did not help at all, or if it was a legitimate scam. It is important to protect other buyers from those types of things.
OK! Enough about that, back to the case!
This is what I started with. I ended up using two of the little glue bottles and the tweezers were a pain in my ass! I wonder if they make special decoden tools, actually I'm sure they do, and I will have to invest in some next time I make something. The white plate was for glue gobs that I dipped the pieces in. (Fun fact: super glue eats through styrofoam!)
Everything kept together nicely on a pretty pink plate!
And here it is finished! I LOVE IT! It is SO CUTE!
Some close ups. It took about 2 or 2 1/2 hours to do.
This is what I had left after I finished...lots of room for replacements if something gets knocked off...
My phone is so heavy and cumbersome now! But adorable!
